Why audio has to become video at all
YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Spotify Canvas are all video pipelines. If what you have is a finished mix, you need a video container before any of them will take it, and a static image on a black background is the laziest possible answer to that problem.
A visualizer solves the format requirement and gives people something to watch at the same time.
What goes into the frame
Beyond the visualizer itself you can add a track title, an artist name, cover art and a custom background image. Those are the things that make an upload look like a release rather than a placeholder.
Colours are yours to set. If your cover art is teal and orange, the visualizer can be teal and orange.
The conversion happens locally
There is no upload step. Your file is decoded in the browser, analysed in the browser and rendered in the browser, and the finished video is written straight to your downloads folder.
On Chrome, Edge and Opera the encode runs on your GPU’s hardware video encoder, which is what makes a full-length MP4 finish quickly. Safari and Firefox fall back to a slower software path that produces a WebM at roughly real time.

Questions
Is there a file size limit on the MP3?
There is no server-side limit because there is no server involved. The practical ceiling is your own machine’s memory, and full-length tracks are well within it.
Can I convert a WAV or FLAC instead of an MP3?
Yes. WAV, FLAC, M4A and OGG all work exactly the same way. Lossless input is preferable if you have it, since nothing is re-encoded on the audio side.
Does the exported video keep the original audio quality?
The audio is muxed into the video at high bitrate rather than being downsampled to fit. What you hear back is what you put in.
